DI+ Level

Helper filterLONG

The number you type in the DI+ Level box (currently 50) is the minimum value of upward pressure. ABOVE: DI+ is above this number at that moment. CROSSED UP: it must have passed it on this exact candle. Type 30 in the box and the bot looks for 30.

How it differs from ADX

ADX tells you how strong the trend is but does not tell its direction — it rises in a falling market too. DI+ measures the pressure of the upward direction directly. Using the two together is common: ADX above 25 (there is a trend) + DI+ above 25 (direction is up). They are separate boxes and are joined with AND.

On this screen

The green line (DI+) hovers between 14 and 20 for 20 candles — the market is undecided, candles are small. Then in a single candle it crosses above 50 and climbs to 53.6 on the next candle: a big wave of buying came in. The crossover candle is marked with a gold square. Here is what follows, in numbers: candle bodies grow to 74 times their earlier size, volume doubles and price is at +24.8% after 10 candles. So a move above 50 is not just a line moving — buying piles in there and keeps going.

What number should I enter in the box?

The bigger the number, the fewer candles pass. The right number changes with the coin, the timeframe and the volatility — move the box and look at how many candles pass on the screen.

Does this condition close the position?

It only approves the entry; even if the condition breaks later, it does not close the position. What closes it is your choice: if Profit Lock is on, PNL tracking (while it is on, the Trailing Stop, Take Profit Net and Limit TP Net boxes are locked); if it is off, the figures you enter in these three are placed on Binance as orders and the position closes there. DCA Rescue and Liquidation Shield step in under their own conditions; you can also always close it with CLOSE on the panel or manually on Binance.

UMRAYS bot's DI+ Level explanation chart: the bot's status strip at the top, ADX / DMI lines and their labels on the chart.
From the bot's own explanation screen, on the decision candle: the strip at the top is the bot's sentence for that candle; the labels at the top left are the line names.

Each row was tested separately on this chart's own engine.
