MTF CONFIRMATION
Text of the bot's built-in "How to use" guide.
What you need to know
If no box is ticked, MTF is off. The parameter rows open for a timeframe once a rule is selected there.
MTF Confirmation is available in the PULSAR and SUPERNOVA packages.
Second indicator
- MTF Confirmation checks the Entry Strategy's signal on higher timeframes.
- The signal becomes an alarm and a buy only when all conditions on every timeframe you chose are met; if even one fails, it waits.
- There are six indicators: RSI, EMA, MACD, Fisher, DMI, VWAP. Each has its own tab and rows.
- As an example we turn on MTF EMA.
- Rows are conditions, columns are timeframes: 12 timeframes from 1m to 1D.
- Trend Up (9>21): on that timeframe EMA 9 must be above EMA 21. We tick 1h and 4h.
- Each ticked box is a separate condition: it must hold on 1h and on 4h.
- Slope Rising 4h: EMA 9 must be rising over the last candles.
- The Candle Count row sets how many candles are checked; default 2. The row opens for a timeframe once the rule is selected.
- Each parameter belongs to its timeframe: a value you type for 4h does not affect 1h.
- Width % is an extra filter for the Trend rules; it is switched on with the box at its start.
- When on, the gap between EMA 9 and EMA 21 must be larger than this percentage of the price; EMAs too close together do not count. When off, it has no effect.
- Because the direction is LONG, the downward rows are locked. In SHORT the upward ones get locked.
- You can turn on another indicator too. For example MTF DMI.
- All active indicators must be met together: the ticked boxes of EMA and of DMI.
- On a higher timeframe the last candle has not closed yet; it is the forming candle, and conditions are measured with its current value.
- The bot checks the volume filter first, then BTC Gate, then the Entry Strategy; MTF confirms last.
- The ? on each row opens a chart explanation of that condition. Let's open the one for Trend Up.
- On the chart you see step by step on which candles the condition is met and on which it is not.
