LIQUIDATION SHIELD
Text of the bot's built-in "How to use" guide.
What you need to know
Works only on Futures and on Isolated margin positions; it is disabled on Cross margin positions.
It does not close positions or place orders; it only manages the position's margin. It works independently of Profit Lock and DCA.
- Liquidation Shield always keeps an open position's liquidation price at a set distance.
- It does this by automatically adding margin from your wallet to the position, or withdrawing the excess.
- The module is INACTIVE right now: the liquidation price is not protected.
- We turn the shield on.
- The module is now ACTIVE. Let's see what the three boxes do.
- Protection distance 40: the liquidation price is kept 40% away from the current price.
- Example: 20x leverage, LONG from 100 with 10 USDT margin. Liquidation is around 95.
- The target is 40% below 100: 60. To move liquidation down to 60, the shield adds about 70 USDT of margin.
- As the price moves, the target is recalculated. If liquidation drifts too far from the target, the excess margin is withdrawn.
- A larger value means stronger protection but more margin tied to the position. The minimum is 10%.
- Min margin transfer 3: nothing is done unless the needed change exceeds 3% of the position margin (at least $0.50).
- This way the shield does not send Binance a request at every small move. The minimum is 3%.
- Total budget 0 = unlimited: the shield may use your whole available balance.
- If you type a number, it becomes a limit. For example 200:
- Now added minus withdrawn margin cannot exceed 200 USDT. We go back to 0, unlimited.
- The ? on each row opens a chart explanation of that setting. Let's open the one for protection distance.
- On the chart you see where the liquidation line sits and how the shield pushes it away.
- In short: the shield keeps liquidation at the distance you choose; the rest is up to your settings.
