DCA RESCUE

Text of the bot's built-in "How to use" guide.

What you need to know

Order size = Add Amount × leverage. The budget is per page; additions are made only to positions in loss.

DCA does not close, sell or set stops. Profit Lock and Liquidation Shield keep doing their own jobs.

  1. DCA Rescue improves the average cost by making extra buys on a position in loss.
  2. It does not close, sell or set stops; it never adds to a winning position.
  3. The module is INACTIVE right now.
  4. We turn DCA on.
  5. The module is now ACTIVE. Let's see what the five boxes do.
  6. Add Amount 2.5 USDT: the margin put into the position at each addition.
  7. The order size is this times the leverage: at 20x, 2.5 × 20 = a 50 USDT addition.
  8. Max additions 8: a position gets at most 8 additions.
  9. DCA Budget 500 USDT: the total margin of all additions on this page cannot exceed 500 USDT.
  10. Min loss 2: an addition is made only when the position is at least 2% in loss.
  11. The percentage is the price change, without leverage. With a smaller loss, DCA waits.
  12. Cooldown 5: at least 5 candles pass between two additions; the candles are on the scan timeframe.
  13. There is no wait before the first addition. Two additions never happen within the same candle.
  14. Example without leverage (Spot): the coin was bought at 1.00 for 10 USDT, so you hold 10 coins. Let's set Add Amount to 6.
  15. The price drops sharply to 0.50 (50% loss) and the coin signals again in the same direction: DCA buys for 6 USDT, and 12 more coins come in.
  16. Now you hold 22 coins at a cost of 16 USDT: average 0.7273. To get out of the loss you don't need 1.00, just 0.7273.
  17. The price recovers a little, then falls again to 0.40: a 45% loss against the average. At least 5 candles have passed and a new signal comes.
  18. Second addition: 6 USDT buys 15 more coins. Now 37 coins at a cost of 22 USDT: average 0.5946.
  19. When the price rises to 0.61, the 37 coins are worth 22.57 USDT against a cost of 22 USDT. The coin you bought at 1.00 is in profit at 0.61: you are out of the loss.
  20. The calculations exclude commission. The example has no leverage: at 20x leverage, a 50% drop means liquidation.
  21. We set Add Amount back to the default 2.5.
  22. DCA does not buy on its own: scanning must be on and the coin must give a new signal in the same direction.
  23. Entry Strategy, BTC Gate and MTF Confirmation must all approve that signal. Otherwise no addition is made.
  24. The ? on each row opens a chart explanation of that setting. Let's open the one for min loss.
  25. On the chart you see where the addition is made once the position goes into loss and how the average changes.
