BTC GATE

Text of the bot's built-in "How to use" guide.

What you need to know

The gate does not wait for a candle to close; while scanning, the bot refreshes this check every 15 seconds. A rule with 0 in its level box is skipped.

Switching direction clears the selections of the opposite side; the bot looks for one direction at a time. Spot has LONG only.

  1. BTC Gate does not look at the coin you are about to trade; it only measures Bitcoin's current state. It does not create signals or buy.
  2. When a coin gives a signal, the bot first checks Bitcoin. If all the rules you ticked are met, the signal goes ahead; if even one fails, there is no alarm, no buy and no DCA.
  3. No box is ticked yet: the module is INACTIVE.
  4. First we choose the trade direction: LONG.
  5. In LONG the Bear rows are locked; only rising rules can be chosen.
  6. Price > EMA: Bitcoin must be above its 50 average. We tick 1h and 4h; each box is a separate condition.
  7. Once the first box is ticked, the module turns ACTIVE by itself.
  8. ADX Strong 1h: trend strength must be above the value in ADX Level; equal is not enough.
  9. Stability 1h: DI+ must stay on top in the last candles, meaning buyers are in control.
  10. ADX Level 25: the threshold of the ADX Strong rule. Default 25.
  11. Stability Candle 3: how many candles DI+ must stay on top. Default 3.
  12. You can change both separately for each timeframe; the row opens when its rule is selected. EMA 50 is fixed.
  13. Calculate: measures your selection on Bitcoin's latest candles with the bot's own calculation. It changes no settings.
  14. {T}: three of the four criteria are met. 1h ADX is 24.9; it does not exceed level 25.
  15. The gate is closed: at this moment there is no LONG alarm, no buy and no DCA.
  16. What if you lower ADX Level to 20? You would accept weaker trends too.
  17. Calculate again for the same moment.
  18. Now all four criteria are met: 24.9 > 20. The gate is open.
  19. A lower level lets more signals through; a higher level opens only in strong trends. We go back to the default 25.
  20. If the gate closes while scanning, you see it on the main screen. Let's switch to the main screen.
  21. A red strip in the middle console shows the reason; the BTC icon on the module bar blinks red. The bot gives no new alarms.
  22. GO TO BTC GATE takes you straight to the panel.
  23. {T}: another moment. Calculate again on the panel.
  24. All four criteria are met. The gate is open: the strip disappears, the icon stops blinking, LONG signals go ahead.
  25. In SHORT the Bull rows are locked. We tick Price < EMA 1h and 4h and Stability (Bear) 1h.
  26. ADX Strong stays selected because it does not depend on direction.
  27. {T}: the same moment, this time Calculate for SHORT.
  28. Only ADX is met; Bitcoin is rising. The SHORT gate is closed.
  29. {T}: another moment, the same selection while Bitcoin is falling.
  30. All four criteria are met. The SHORT gate is open.

SHORT · closed

  1. We switch the direction to SHORT.

SHORT · open

  1. The bot warns that the LONG-only selections will be cleared: one direction at a time. We confirm.
